Some of the best conversations about work don’t happen at work.
I work across leadership, education and sport. I also play a lot of golf, off a handicap of 2.
Some of the best conversations I’ve had about work didn’t happen in formal leadership sessions. They happened over coffee, at dinner, on the way to somewhere, or walking round a golf course. Usually when somebody finally had enough space away from work to talk properly.
Trajector grew from wondering what would happen if we created more of that on purpose.
Background
The day job.
My background spans higher education, leadership development, sport and organisational strategy. I’ve designed and delivered leadership programmes, worked with managers and senior leaders, facilitated workshops and coached individuals.
I’ve seen what works, and what doesn’t. Trajector is built around what does.
What I’d like it to be
A small group, good golf and interesting people.
Enough structure to keep the conversations useful. Enough looseness to keep it enjoyable.

What to expect from me
I’ll look after the details.
I’ll keep the conversations useful, look after the practicalities and try to stay out of the way. The agenda belongs to the group, and you’ll have a say before we start. I’ll also be the person you speak to first. Every registration comes to me, and I’ll be in touch personally.
Three guest contributors will join us, one at each event, each an expert on that event’s themes, from sport or business. We’ll announce them as they are confirmed.
