The six days
What actually happens.
Three residential events between April and August 2027. Two days of golf in each, and plenty of time in between.
The format
Two days. One night. The same sixteen people.
Each event is two days with one night at the hotel. We arrive on the first morning, play golf on both days and head home after the second round. In between there are leadership conversations, a guest contributor, good meals and a lot of walking.
It’s the same sixteen people every time. The structure is light, and a lot of the best conversation happens on the course and over meals.
Inside an event
How an event goes.
The pattern is the same each time. What we talk about is up to the group.
Day one, morning
Breakfast, a catch up and golf
We start with breakfast and a catch up, then head to the course together and play. Around four hours of walking and talking.
Day one, after golf
Our guest contributor
An expert on that event’s themes, and a top performer from sport or business, shares the ideas that have worked for them, how they lead, and what you can take back into your own organisation, practice or team. Then the group talks it through: what applies, what doesn’t, and what’s worth trying.
Day one, evening
Food and a few drinks
Dinner together, a few drinks and a night at the hotel. The conversation tends to carry on long after the plates have gone.
Day two, morning
Breakfast and a discussion
After breakfast there’s a second leadership discussion, a chance to reflect on the day before and what you want to take back to work.
Day two, afternoon
A second course, then presentations
We play the second course of the event. Afterwards there are prize presentations, and then everyone heads off.
Between events
It carries on between events.
Trajector isn’t three golf events with nothing in between. The whole group gets together online between each one, so every event picks up where the last one left off.
April
Event one
Leading yourself and others.
April to June
Online check-in
The whole group, back together online. We go over what came out of April, hear how it’s gone at work since, and anyone can raise something new before June.
June
Event two
Leading teams and organisations.
June to August
Online check-in
The same again. What came out of June, how it’s gone at work since, and anything new to raise before August.
August
Event three
Strategy and what comes next.
Light on purpose.
The check-ins keep the group connected between events. There’s no homework. It’s a useful conversation with people who already know the background, so the next event can start with what matters now.
On the course
A little competition.
The six rounds build towards a season-long Order of Merit. Points are awarded at each event, and the Grand Final at the end decides the winner. We’re proposing Royal Birkdale for the finale.
Transport is included where it’s needed, so nobody is working out logistics.
Guest contributors
One expert at each event.
Each event has one guest contributor, three in all. They’re experts on that event’s themes, and top performers from sport or business.
They aren’t there to teach a model. They share the ideas that have worked for them, how they lead, and what you can use back in your own organisation, practice or team. Because they’re chosen for the event’s themes, what they share feeds straight into what the group is already working on. Then there’s time to ask questions and talk it through, and the conversation carries on over dinner.
We’ll announce our contributors as they are confirmed.
